Garden full of Wonders!

Plant the right seeds to grow all things good and glorious in your life.

When spring comes, flowers bloom and pretty creatures which were hibernating during winter come out to play, turning the surroundings into a garden delight. There is a lot of joy all around and it’s like a time of awakening. An interesting thought is to ask how our personal gardens are growing. I am not talking about garden in your house but the one in our minds. Here, when the right seeds are planted, then the growth is wonderful and glorious, but if the wrong seeds are planted or the space is neglected, then the results will be weeds and all things unwanted.

As much as we pay attention to the clothes we wear and all our outside trappings, what’s inside counts for more. So this spring season, think of all the good things you want growing in your head. Plant goodness, kindness and happy thoughts and soon you will see the outcome. Just don’t let anything negative creep in. Envy, fear and doubts are weeds that have to be plucked and thrown out, never to find a place in your mind. On top of that, visualize success, prosperity and being surrounded by people who care and support you and all these will start to take root. Water these thoughts everyday with love and you will soon see the fruits of this effort.

When good things come, especially in the form of material things, beware of another dangerous weed called ego. It doesn’t sound dangerous and sometimes we don’t even know it has grown but it has to be watched carefully as it can be the cause of a downfall .. when we start thinking we are the greatest and stop listening to the opinions of others, we may become insufferable or too dominating. Wealth without respect, diamonds without love, a hugh mansion without a beloved family don’t mean much if you look at the big picture. Keep ego at bay and always check that the garden of your mind is carefully tended so that only good things grow. Then you will truly live an inspired life that everyone wants to emulate.

In spite of all the negative news and mishaps the world has suffered in the recent past, deep down many still hold on to the hope that our universe is a good place to live in Some say it in words and some through the creative work they come up with. We all want to live in a world filled with bright gorgeous colours and all things splendid. Flowers are one of natures’s most beautiful gifts and just looking at them ban lift our spirit.

In the spirit of spring, although technically we don’t have one due to our tropical climate, picture yourselves as a bud ready to blossom to your full glory. Do this, no matter what your age, for we all have the potential to reinvent ourselves and bloom to our full glory again and again whenever the need arises or when we want to. With this kind of positive mindset, life will indeed always be a garden of paradise full of infinite possibilities.
