One of my buddies, Noor is looking so good.

I asked her secret.

This is Noor’s story.

“You know Vera, when I was working and I had three sons,

my whole life revolved around my family but I never stop having ‘me time’.

My ‘me time’ was after sending my sons to school.

Exercise and quick breakfast with family or friend.

I guess it helped in my sanity!

My routine, rush to office, work, work, work, fetch sons home

and back to work, work, work.

I was there for every PTA meeting, report card and sports day.

I do a lot of travelling and hitting the gym was a norm for me.

I asked my Secretary to schedule my meetings after 11am and after 2pm.

My Secretary once asked me how I remember my sons activities so precise.

My answer was I had no choice!

When I quit the corporate life as my sons activities became more,

I continue doing my ‘me time’ and added gardening and reading.

Now my sons besar already. 27, 25 and 24.

Recently, my husband came back and saw me reading.

Wah! So nice eh, he commented.

Then it dawn on me as I sat next to him and said Bang, I am indeed blessed.

You know, when we started our family and

I had to balance my working life and being a mother,

a wife and employee.

I remembered I had no choice.

Now I have earned it.”

ps Thanks Noor!

I can relate to this.

Cheers Parents, We Made IT!
